Stinkin' Update!

My blog?  Oh yeah!  My BLOG!  Crap, you guys.  Sorry for not updating.  I want to say I forgot, but that would be a lie which you all know about, because I keep getting texts and reminders and threats to update this biatch.  Alright, alright!  Here's your stinkin' update!

Life is still pretty frickin awesome.  I just read my last post and laughed because I thought to myself, "How can I just re-phrase my last post?"  Things are still just so lovely and peachy-keen in my world.  My job is great, my little town is great, my life is just...great.  I'm not trying to brag, but I just feel so insanely happy right now.  After trying so many different things with eventually no follow-thru, to know that I finally made a plan, stuck with it, and am now seeing the fruits of that labor...  Well, it just makes me gosh darn happy.

Work is going really quite swell.  We're managing to stay pretty busy every day even with the cold weather.  I've already done so much in the two months I've been there.  I've pretty much been assigned to surgery, which I'm so excited about.  I can honestly say that I love driving to work every day, I love the patients, I love puttering around on the gator on a crisp morning, I love being challenged with new cases each week, I just...you know...LOVE!

My little patient that only loved ME!
My little town is still pretty damn awesome.  I've once again managed to score a great roommate named Hope.  We get along so well and have quickly become friends.  We just spent the afternoon hiking then drove downtown, shopped at the second-hand cowgirl store, and finished up with some divine happy-hour sushi.  Pretty much the perfect afternoon!  I can see myself staying here for a long, long time.  I love Utah.  It will always be my home.  But Oregon?  It just fits.

Hope and I.  Wool caps.  Eh!
I couldn't ask for anymore right now.  Well, maybe a dog.  I miss my little Lola like crazy.  Every day.  I'm surrounded by dogs at work and home, but it's not the same.  I wish she could be here on this adventure with me.  I'll no doubt find myself a new friend, though.  I'm already planning and scheming.  It's what I do.  Maybe next, I'll plan and scheme for a boy.  Maybe.  That's kind of crazy talk!

Well that's the cheese, ya'll!  I'll try to update more often.  I know my five readers expect it.  Right, Dad?

Frozen winter kisses from Oregon!  xoxoxAC
