New job? Nice. New co-workers? Nice. New roommates? Nice. New city? Nice.
I've uttered that word about 50 fabillion times in the last week (that's a very real and very big number, ya'll). I'm so sick of it, but I really don't have any idea how to describe the last week of my life. It's just been...nice. Gah vomit! HAHA! I started my new job this week and it's just been great. Everyone is so friendly and inviting and helpful and just every other lovely word in the English language you can use to describe a super pleasant situation. When I first moved to Oregon for my other job, it was hard from the start. I felt nervous and unsettled, and that kind of never went away. The new situation is different. Right from the start, I just felt...at peace. Relaxed, happy, at home... How many other verbs can I squeeze into this post?!?!
My cousin has this GREAT phrase: "I love right now!" (Hi, Syd.) Talk about writer's envy! I want to scream that phrase about 50 times every day right now! I just feel so happy. I LOVE RIGHT NOW! This new situation has just boosted my confidence. It's reassured me of my decision to change my life and try something new. I feel excited and invigorated again! And it's only been a week! I fully realize that I may eat these words in the future, but for now... Life. Is. Awesome.
I'll write again. And maybe calm down? Ummm. Not likely. On top of all things fabulous here in Oregon, I'm also flying home in a little over a week. Yep. I get to go home, hug my family, laugh with my friends, eat red meat, and play with my animals. Oh and go see the new Twilight movie premiere...with my favorite girls...hopped up on hot totties. Lordie! Who's a lucky girl? THIS ONE!
